The Unteachables makes the teachers the class clowns. Join some hilarious comics, some current and some former teachers for an incredibly funny night. It's Stand Up Comedy night at the 509 Club in Fayetteville this Tuesday, Dec 19th. Teachers get drink discounts with their badge because we know how stressful that end of semester push can be! About your comedians Stephen Taylor: Originally a Louisiana native, Stephen moved to Kansas City to escape his traditional southern roots and now he’s one of the fastest rising talents in the region. His videos have been viewed by millions online and his stage show is can’t miss comedy. He has been featured on The Breakfast Club, The New York Post, and at San Fransisco Sketchfest. A former teacher, reformed preacher, and political operative, Stephen combines his unique perspective with some wild stories and some sweet southern charm. He has worked with comics like Theo Von, Laurie Kilmartin, and Karlous Miller and now he’s headlining at your favorite clubs, colleges, and bars across the country. He was recently awarded best performer at the 2023 Cleveland Comedy Festival, Tours with the Unteachables Comedy Tour, and the co-host of the Set to Destroy Podcast.Lou Pharis: Lou Pharis is a Denver based stand-up comedian and teacher who uses his high energy and outrageous experiences in the classroom to keep crowds laughing. After failing to make the NFL and win American Ninja Warrior, Lou turned his talents to the public education system. His viral videos on teaching and marriage have amassed over 50 million views on social media. Lou has been featured across the US and UK, has been seen on Bored Teachers and NBC, and was a finalist for Comedy Works New Faces Contest.Joe McKenna: Joe McKenna is a comedian from Boston, Massachusetts. One of the fastest rising comics in Denver, Joe utilizes his experience as a middle school teacher and traveller to recount his most bizarre undergoings with his students, his time spent abroad, and the everchanging social expectations of the youth. Joe has been seen at comedy clubs across the US, and has worked with household comedians such as Mark Normand, Shane Gillis, and Sam Tallent. Joe produces stand-up comedy shows for Couyon Comedy, a comedy brand that hosts comedy shows across the United States.
