Our expert staff are Certified Photographic Consultants; trained and tested by the Photo Marketing Association International. We are qualified and enthusiastic to help you choose and teach you how to use your camera equipment, even if you bought it elsewhere.

Get ready to explore the fascinating world of Martin guitars! Our photo tour will take you behind the scenes of the renowned Martin Guitar Factory, and a Dan's photo expert will be right there for plenty of hands-on help and instruction. You'll learn about:<ul><li>Composition and storytelling</li><li>Focal length and aperture choice for creative contol</li><li>Working with available light</li><li>Capturing action on location</li><li>Color vs. black &amp; white, and when you might choose one over the other</li></ul>Discover the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into creating these iconic instruments. Capture stunning photos of the intricate guitar-making process and learn about the rich history of this legendary company. We hope you can join us! Suggested gear for this outing:<ul><li>Any interchangeable-lens camera</li><li>Wide to medium lens zoom lens (18-55mm, 24-70mm)</li><li>Large aperture &amp; prime lenses (35mm ƒ/1.8, 50mm ƒ/1.8, etc.)</li></ul>No flash photography, large camera bags, tripods, or monopods are permitted on the tour. Plan to wear comfortable closed-toe walking shoes. Ticket availability is very limited, and we cannot overbook this session. COVID-19 Health &amp; safety for indoor classes - We recommend that attendees wear masks indoors. If you don't have a high-quality mask (like N95 or KN95) we have a limited supply available for you here at Dan's. Just ask when you arrive for your class.
