Mountain Youth is offering a free, one-day (6 hour) Positive Youth Development (PYD) training. This interactive workshop style training is open to youth serving professionals or anyone interested in youth wellbeing. We welcome all who are interested in supporting our youth! Lunch, childcare and live translation will be provided. What is Positive Youth Development?PYD is an inclusive strategy that integrates skill-building, creating opportunities, and fostering genuine relationships into various programs, methods, and policies. Its aim is to enable young people to achieve their maximum potential. Unlike conventional prevention-focused programs that concentrate on risk behaviors, PYD emphasizes nurturing positive traits and enhancing the environment around individuals.
