Making Botanical Inks with Christine Harrison - 2 Day Online Workshop

Join Christine Harrison for a 2-day online workshop where you'll learn the art of making beautiful botanical inks!

On Saturday, using local tannin rich botanicals Christine will show how to create simple inks. Simmering onion skins, eucalyptus leaves, rose leaves or pomegranate skins. Make your own ink along with instructor or just watch and try later. On Sunday, Christine will demonstrate making lake pigment for inks, paint or printing inks. This process will be shown in class and the different stages but students will complete on their own.With signup she will provide a more inclusive list of supplies. But simply having leaves,A 2 qt. stainless steel pan, heat source; you can make begin to explore making inks!
