The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. A&H is a group of sophisticated attractions that includes a contemporary art museum, 3 interactive history museums, and a stunning campus recognized as Central Florida's only National Historic Landmark. A&H also features a community art school nestled among its beautiful gardens and unique architecture.Founded in 1937 as an artists’ retreat, our space still fulfills this mission today with multiple artist residencies serving both local and international artists. A&H provides the Central Florida community with many  activities every month, including free family programming, affordable site tours, and free presentations on art and history from visiting experts. Become part of the cultured community that gathers for drinks and conversation in our gallery after-hours from 5:30-8pm the Last Wednesday of every month. Enjoy free admission to the current exhibition of the Maitland Art Center Gallery. Then grab a drink (we offer a broad selection of both nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages) and watch the sunset over the iconic lily pond in our Main Gardens.____Fight food insecurity during your next visit to our beautiful campus, join us in making a meaningful impact in our local community by participating in our Pride Pantry Food Drive.
