Anomaly - The Rochester Genre Film Festival is holding its inaugural festival Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Cinema Theatre in downtown Rochester, NY. Dedicated to showcasing independent genre films — including, horror, science fiction, fantasy, action, and more — from around the world, the festival hopes to broaden audience minds and awaken forgotten demons.

An old man encounters the ghost of a road accident victim, and discovers that his spectral companion is able to transport him back in time. Soon, he sets in motion a plan to convince his younger self to preempt his mother’s terminal suffering.

Murder, time travel, and spirituality come together in this enigmatic fable from Mattie Do. The first and only female filmmaker of Laos, Do is one of the most unique voices currently working in genre cinema.
