Let's end the silence in Forest Grove!Ending the Silence is a presentation created by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). It can be adapted for parents, school staff, or youth/students.If you are a parent, a caregiver, or just an adult in the community who wants to know how to support your friends and loved ones, join us for this free presentation on February 10th!You'll learn:<ul><li>The warning signs of mental health conditions</li><li>Strategies to improve mental health</li><li>How to start open communication about mental health concerns in your family and community</li></ul>Ending the Silence presentations are conducted by two leaders: one shares an informative presentation, and one is a young adult with a mental health condition who shares their journey of recovery. These presentations also include time for open discussion about mental health.Through dialogue, we can help grow the movement to end stigma.
