Stephanie is an Ayurvedic chef who believes that making conscious changes to your daily practices and diet can bring you back into balance with your physical, mental and spiritual needs.A lifelong passion for food drew her towards Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, and to pursue a Ayurvedic Nutrition and Culinary Certification at Bhagavat Life under the guidance of Divya Alter, author ofWhat to Eat for How You Feel: The New Ayurvedic Kitchenand co-owner of Divya’s Kitchen, an Ayurvedic restaurant in Manhattan.After graduating from culinary school, she became the Chef de Cuisine at the Assemblage, a conscious coliving and coworking space, where she developed seasonal Ayurvedic menus using natural, organic ingredients and educated the staff and co-working members on the intricacies of Ayurveda. Now, she following her passion of sharing her love of Ayurveda with others as a freelance chef through culinary workshops, recipe development and restaurant consultations.

The Wright Methods

This Ayurvedic culinary class will teach you how to tend to your inner garden by using food as your medicine with seasonal elixirs.

As the days get shorter and the nights grow longer, we are being asked by nature to go inward to tend to our inner garden. During this workshop, you will learn how to use food as your medicine by harnessing the power of Ayurveda with seasonal herbal elixirs that will help you stay rooted and grounded during the new moon. The tonics that we will learn how to make include:<ul><li>Chamomile Immun-i-Tea</li><li>Purple Sweet Potato Date Shake</li><li>Vegan Turmeric Golden Cashew Milk</li></ul>The ticket price includes a PDF handout of the recipes and seasonal tips and tricks for Vata season as well as a recorded session of the cooking class itself.
