Founded in 2007, LAAF is (in our humble opinion) the greatest animation show on earth. Always screening the best in world and locally sourced LA animation. With support from the local animation community previous guests and honorees have included Brad Bird, Will Vinton, Chris Prynowski, Bill Plympton, Tom Kenny and Sean Lennon. So get ready for much much more in 2024. We all love a good LAAF!

A live event of improvising voice actors, incl. ERIC BAUZA (DAFFY DUCK), CHERYL CHASE (ANGELICA - RUGRATS) & TRACY GRANDSTAFF (MTV's DARIA).

Join us for our Opening Night Party event - a night featuring some of the best voice actors in Hollywood.Performers include ERIC BAUZA, (BUGS, DAFFY, PORKY and WILE E. COYOTE), CHERYL CHASE (Angelica of the RUGRATS) and, for the first time on a voice panel TRACY GRANDSTAFF, the memorable voice of DARIA on MTV’s long-running series.In addition there will be a special appearance by director/animator MAX WINSTON of Rat Bat Studios whose recent stop-motion animated LOONEY TUNES short DAFFY IN WACKYLAND has been charming audiences in recent festival screenings. Plus TikTok sensation JEREMY OLENSKI. The actors will be performing an array of live skits, including scenes from well-known movies. Hosted by John Andrews, LAAF co-founder and voice actor and producer of Beavis &amp; Butt-Head in its original run.Plus a party event for attendees made possible by a donation from animation studio Titmouse, Inc. Celebrate the start of LAAF 2023 in style. PARKINGJust a heads up - parking can be tricky so if you can Uber/Lyft it, I’d suggest that.There is parking nearby, but it fills up quickly. PARKING - nearby underground parking is available around the corner from the JAXX Theatre(see illustration) at: 1110 N Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029.4 hours $4, all-day $10. Closes approx. 11.30/midnight - but check times with the attendant.
