A workshop on how to teach all 8 units of Explorations in Data Science (live online sessions every Wednesday, 4-6 pm Pacific, Mar 20-May 22)

High school teachers, join the youcubed curriculum writing team* for a workshop to prepare to teach our full-year course, <a href="https://hsdatascience.youcubed.org/" title="https://hsdatascience.youcubed.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Explorations in Data Science</a>! The training is conducted remotely via Zoom and offers in-depth sessions on all 8 units of the course, including hands-on experience with the technology tools in the course. Class sessions occur weekly on Wednesdays, with the first session on March 20 and the last session on May 22. Each week, the workshop will begin at 4:00 pm Pacific Time and end at 6:00 pm Pacific Time. Participants will receive a certificate verifying 20 Professional Development Hours (2 CEUs) after the final session on May 22 has ended.Individual participants: $1,990 per personGroups of 2 or more: $1,800 per person* PLEASE NOTE THAT JO BOALER IS NOT A PRESENTER AT THIS WORKSHOPEach participant must log into the workshop individually, from their own device, to be admitted to the sesssion each week. We encourage teams of educators from the same school or district to participate in the workshop together and offer a discounted rate to groups of 2 or more; however, we do not permit groups to log in with a single registration. If multiple people from your school or district are planning to participate in this professional development, please ensure that each member of the group has a paid registration associated with their name.TO REGISTER FOR THE WORKSHOP USING A PURCHASE ORDER, PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO: PDINFO@YOUCUBED.ORGAll registered participants will receive an email before each week's session with a Zoom link and password. After each session, we will provide a recording and a link to all slides or other resources used in the session. These weekly emails will be sent to all registered participants, regardless of whether they attended that week's live session, so that participants who wish to review the material or catch up on a session that they missed will have the opportunity to do so before the next week's session. All recordings and other resources will remain available to all registered participants for at least one year after the workshop end date.
