The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. A&H is a group of sophisticated attractions that includes a contemporary art museum, 3 interactive history museums, and a stunning campus recognized as Central Florida's only National Historic Landmark. A&H also features a community art school nestled among its beautiful gardens and unique architecture.Founded in 1937 as an artists’ retreat, our space still fulfills this mission today with multiple artist residencies serving both local and international artists. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, impress someone special with a sophisticated date night, or just a way to relax with friends—A&H has you covered! Check out this selection of upcoming events.

Note: Walk ins welcome :) Spring is beginning to bloom all around our campus! Families are invited to celebrate the first signs of a new season at our Early SpringFamily Day + Family Art Workshop, where children will hand-build their own clay pinch pots, and then embellish them with wonderful tiny treasures from our garden, like pressed flowers and leaves, mini stones and even bitty sea shells! Our pinch pots are inspired by A &amp; H’s founding artist, J. André Smith, who was a sculpture artist, and they’ll be ready to take home after the workshop!We'll also have an "I Spy Spring" themed scavenger hunt, craft stations plus drawing and coloring tables! Before leaving, children can take home a bit of our garden too by decorating a recycled pot and planting seeds for the new season!There will be more surprises too, like face painting and free admission to three museums! Our family art workshop is recommended for children ages 4 and over, and under 4 with parental help!Space and art supplies are limited (one pinch pot per child, while supplies last), so sign up today!Early Spring Family Day is free of charge and sponsored by <a href="https://www.masseyservices.com/" title="https://www.masseyservices.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Massey Services</a>.
