Forest bathing is a slow and mindful practice, connecting with nature through the senses. It is NOT a hike, naturalist walk, or literally taking a bath in the woods. As your guide, I will offer a series of invitations to explore a deeper connection with nature and with yourself.Research has shown that spending time in nature has many benefits including decreasing stress, lowering blood pressure, and improving mood. HOW TO PREPARE:<ul><li>Please wear clothing and shoes appropriate for the weather. We will be walking on grass, dirt, and woodchip trails.</li><li>Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during the walk</li><li>Walk will be cancelled or rescheduled in the event of severe weather.</li></ul> This event is FREE but you must register to reserve your spot. Spots are limited.This event is not associated with Silverwood Park or its programming and events.
