He is a member of Trustees, Mass Audubon, and several local Friends groups. His &quot;home group&quot; is the Friends of Harold Parker, and he can often be found leading their weekly Wednesday morning outings (plug!). His greatest enjoyment comes from the ever-changing &quot;symphony of textures&quot; underfoot across the four seasons, as well as contributing data to Open Streetmap and generally helping endorse and care for our precious outdoor resources.About the hike: Tired of working off your Thanksgiving dinner by fighting crowds at the big-box stores? How about something more peaceful and relaxing on Black Friday? Let&#x27;s head for the woods instead, and stand atop big rocks while laughing at the commercialism below us. We can take this 3.5-mile loop at a moderate pace, which includes parts of the Rock Circuit trail and some other hilly terrain, but is not end-to-end rugged. Meet at the Flynn Rink lot on Woodland Rd/ Elm St for a 1pm start, and we&#x27;ll head eastward from there.Steady rain or heavy wind cancels.
