<h1>On the Road with All About Books</h1><p>Dublin City FM's A ll About Books is going on the road! Katy Conneely will host a series of free panel discussions investigating and dissecting the themes of this year's Dublin UNESCO City of Literature.</p><p><br></p><h2>New routes to reading: BookTok and Bookstagram</h2><h3>4th November at 2pm in Ballymun Library</h3><p>Social media has changed how we engage with books - go into any bookshop today and you’ll see a dedicated BookTok section. It also has more and more people reading and engaging with literature. The panellists will discuss how this has played out in the industry. You'll hear from <strong><strong>Bronwyn O'Neill</strong></strong>, Booktoker &amp; Digital Editor of VIP Magazine, <strong><strong>Niamh Donnelly</strong></strong>, writer, critic &amp; journalist and <strong><strong>Mick Finucane</strong></strong>, co-owner Chapters Bookstore.</p><h2>Access for All</h2><h3>11th November at 2pm in Rathmines Library</h3><p><strong><strong>Michelle Lynch</strong></strong>, Communications, Advocacy and Outreach Manager, National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) and<strong><strong> Jenny Murray</strong></strong>, Deputy CEO Children's Books Ireland will discuss the ways in which their organisations are working to make literature more accessible to everyone. They will be joined by <strong><strong>Kevin Curran</strong></strong>, writer &amp; teacher, whose books have been produced both in paper and audio format.</p><h2>Diversity in Publishing</h2><h3>18th November at 2pm in Rathmines Library</h3><p>Katy will be joined by <strong><strong>Oein DeBhairduin</strong></strong>, writer, author &amp; Traveller Cultural Collections Officer at The National Museum, <strong><strong>Mariel Deegan</strong></strong> is Acting Managing Director of New Island Books and <strong><strong>Matthew Parkinson-Bennett</strong></strong>, publisher of Little Island Books to address and discuss how to better diversify Irish literature.</p><h2>Works in Translation: Broadening Horizons</h2><h3>25th November at 2pm in Ballymun Library</h3><p>Works of translation and reading more internationally are becoming ever more popular. This event will be a discussion between <strong><strong>Declan O'Driscoll</strong></strong>, reviewer, <strong><strong>Bridget Farrell</strong></strong>, founder of Bullaun Press and <strong><strong>Lynsey Reed</strong></strong>, General Manager of Literature Ireland on this rise in popularity.</p><p><br></p><p>NB: The panel discussions will be recorded for broadcast on Dublin City FM, the Q&amp;A session after each discussion will not be recorded.</p>
