Indulge in a variety of nourishing plant-based dishes, bursting with flavor and goodness. Experience the power of community as we come together to share stories, laughter, and love. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate life and express gratitude for all its blessings. See you there!</strong></strong></em></h3><h3><br></h3><h3>This fully vegan + plant based FREE event takes place the day after traditional Thanksgiving!</h3><h3>The FUN consists of a pot luck lunch among likeminded friends + our group will venture into the fields for paid strawberry 🍓 picking for dessert! YUM 😃😃</h3><h3>We will eat, socialize and sit at picnic tables that feature a covered roof to shade from the sun ☀️</h3><h3>What makes this event different from other holiday time vegan and plant based gatherings? The food! It’s nourishing food that is required to meet the Certified <a href="http://HealthyVeganFood.info" title="http://HealthyVeganFood.info" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://HealthyVeganFood.info</a> standard consisting of…</h3><h3>Zero animal products</h3><h3>Zero alcohol</h3><h3>Actual plant fiber</h3><h3>Zero added oil</h3><h3>Zero added salt</h3><h3>Zero refined sugar</h3><h3>It’s a food standard that can, in good conscience, be called healthy and will not cause intentional harm to your body… the way all food should be!</h3><h3>To participate in the pot luck each attendee should please bring a HVF compliant dish to share among approx 4 to 6 people. You can either make one or buy one. We have LOTS of recipe ideas here on our non-profit site: <a href="https://aplantbaseddiet.org/healthy-recipes/" title="https://aplantbaseddiet.org/healthy-recipes/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://aplantbaseddiet.org/healthy-recipes/</a> Just please be certain the Healthy Vegan Food requirements are met + bring a written / printed list of ingredients to display alongside of your dish ( if prepared food ) + a utensil for serving your dish. Cut raw whole fresh fruit and / or veggies are very much welcome as a dish! 😃🍊🍍</h3><h3>Please also BYO plate, personal eating utensils and napkins ( reusable and compostable are preferred ).</h3><h3>For drinks please BYO water or Farmer Mike’s has beverages available for purchase.</h3><h3>After our yummy, energy enhancing lunch we’ll walk into the fields for a super fun experience to pick your own strawberries 🍓 and get aerobic exercise!!! Each of us will weigh our strawberries at the cashier to pay individually before heading back to our picnic area for dessert.
