You're in the right place.What you'll need:<ul><li>Pen and paper, laptop, or some other note-taking/sketching device</li><li>A williness to ask questions. The more the better.</li><li>A desire to learn.</li><li>(Optional) Your own kit, work, sketches or designs. Note: prepare to show them to people if you bring them!</li><li>All other supplies will be provided. </li></ul>Covered in this course:<ul><li>Design a character look from concept</li><li>Lifecasting and mouldmaking fundamentals</li><li>"Out of Kit" effects: ageing, casualty and more</li><li>Prosthetic fabrication and application</li><li>Current industry tips and tricks, resources and materials</li></ul>That's cool, but who's running this thing?Alexander McPherson is a career makeup artist with over 20 feature films under his belt, 10 years of working experience, and 1,257 makeup-soaked sponges trailing his wake. Well... at least the first two are verifiable. In 2016, McPherson created Prestige Makeup and Effects, a makeup company specializing in HD natrualism and special effects. He's worked with lates and grates, from Nicholas Gonzales (The Purge, The Good Doctor) to Neal McDonough (Band of Brothers), Lindsley Register (The Walking Dead, Scorn) to Lindsay Wagner (Bionic Woman). Alexander has been accepted into the I.A.T.S.E. 798 Makeup and Hair Union, and is a MakeupMag Pro cardholder. In addition to Alexander, a guest appearance will be made by other current working artists, such as Alistair McPherson (yeah, they're related!), who's resume includes 80's horror film legends such as 'Hellraiser II' and 'Lair of the White Worm'.
