What will I see at the horse show?

Every week during the 13-week season (June–September) is slightly different. But you always have the opportunity to witness Olympic riders on some of the world's finest horses. You could also watch children on ponies beginning their equestrian journey.

How do I get to Flintfields Horse Park?

Traverse City Horse Shows is conveniently located at 6535 Bates Road in Williamsburg, Michigan—just a half-mile north of M-72. We’re a quick 20-minute drive from downtown Traverse City, Elk Rapids, and the Cherry Capital Airport.

What food, beverage, and shopping options are available?

We have light snacks and hearty meals from local food trucks and our concession stand. Enjoy refreshing beverages at our beverage pavilions strategically located throughout the venue. For those looking for some retail therapy, explore Vendors Row, where you’ll find a luxurious shopping experience.

What is the parking situation?

When you arrive, our friendly front gate attendants will direct you to the parking area. If you’re coming in a group, we encourage car pooling. After you park, shuttle drivers are ready to take you to your desired ring or you can make a short walk to the show entrance

Can individuals with special needs access the venue?

We strive to provide an inclusive and accessible experience for all visitors. However, we are a working farm, so we encourage individuals with wheelchairs or other special needs to let us know if they have any specific requests or require assistance.

What about special groups or events like birthday parties?

We invite you to visit Traverse City Horse Shows as a special group for a meeting, gathering, or event. Let us know whether it's a birthday party or another special occasion, and we'll welcome your group with a special mention over the PA to make your experience memorable.

Do you offer horse riding?

Traverse City Horse Shows is a professional equestrian series. We do not offer horse riding. However, we provide a unique opportunity to view a fantastic sport with a storied history up close.

Are tours available?

Yes, we can provide tours with advance notice. Our shuttle drivers are also an excellent source for a quick introduction. But if you’d like a guided walking tour to talk more about equestrian sport, Traverse City Horse Shows, and Flintfields Horse Park, let us know.
