Engineering Design Workshop

​We firmly believe that encouragement and early education in STEM is an ideal platform to develop a girl’s communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical-thinking abilities, which are important in building an informed and balanced society.  These abilities can help girls -whether or not they pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math– acquire skills to confront real-world problems, examine issues, and apply knowledge to search for solutions.​All Girls STEM Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, strives to inspire and excite girls to begin to pursue STEM, through various free events and workshops that involve STEM projects in a fun and hands-on environment.

<p>Have you ever wondered how to construct your own model of a car? Or which processes engineers use to design and create? If you’re interested in building, engineering, or even if you just love some friendly competition, join us for our Engineering Design Workshop! In the workshop, you’ll get to team up with other participants to make your very own cars and race them against each other — all while being immersed in the process of designing, building, and re-working. Join us for an awesome learning experience, mixed with a little bit of rivalry, cool prizes, and delicious snacks :)</p>
