If we consider that most important decisions we make in life all start with our sense of self–where we come from, and where we are going–Philosophy is the key.Plato outlines the journey to Wisdom in The Myth of the Cave. In his famous work, Plato takes us through a series of encounters with new realities. These new realities test us but make us all the wiser for having push beyond our limits.The encounters we experience in life, when viewed through the lens of philosophy, brings us to higher levels of consciousness. From a higher vantage point, we can see more possibilities and discover greater opportunities. And, as in Plato’s Cave, we loosen our chains and walk towards freedom. We begin to live life deeply and more fully.Through his telling of the Myth of the Cave, Plato shows us that we are all a part of something much bigger than ourselves and that discovery is essential to enduring happiness.Join us for an interactive evening of storytelling and a celebration of philosophy as a way of living.
