About this event

About this event

CORE, Communities Organizing for Racial Equity, explores racism and its devastating effects. CORE exists to empower and equip churches and other Christian organizations to organize and disciple their members to become agents of institutional and individual racial reconciliation.

We invite Christians organizations:

• to explore an analysis of systemic racism from a biblical perspective,

• to understand the damage of racialization and

• begin to see a transformation that leads to the building of the Beloved Community/Shalom.

Workshop Goals

• To see and learn about racism in a new and redemptive way.

• To gain insights into systemic racism through the eyes of faith and Scripture.

• To see more of the connections between history and contemporary race relations.

• To identify organizing opportunities to “eliminate racism, both causes and effects, within the body of believers and throughout the world.”

Sign up early!
