Argentine Tango:  6 Week Deep Dive

Alex has been teaching Argentine Tango in Detroit for over three years.  She has been dancing tango for ten years, trained in Argentina and later NYC before moving to Detroit.  Her goal is to use dance as a tool for community building and positive social change, teaching both the dance and an appreciation for Argentine Culture.  She also teachs with Randy Fisher, both working to grow tango in Detroit.  Join us...let's have some fun and let's dance!

Come explore the world of Argentine Tango!   We'll spend 6 weeks learning how to connect to our own bodies, to others, and to the music.

This is right for you if...- You&#x27;ve got feet and a sense of humor- You&#x27;re looking for a new hobby with a fun, supportive, and diverse social scene here in Detroit- You&#x27;re looking for ways to connect less with screens and more with people- You&#x27;ve got a close friend or partner you want to share a hobby with, OR you&#x27;re flying solo and looking to meet new peopleWe&#x27;ll have you dancing at the end of day 1. After 6 weeks, we&#x27;ll have you dreaming tango figures and practicing your tango walk down grocery isles. Tango isn&#x27;t a skill to be &quot;mastered&quot; quickly before you move on to the next new thing; it is a journey of constant learning. This 6-week session will give you a taste of what the journey of tango looks like. Join us!* Day 1 was October 15, but not too late to join in if you missed the first session!
