Bach - <em><em>Magnificat </em></em><em><em>in D Major</em></em>, BWV243</h3><p>Marin Oratorio presents two beloved choral masterpieces. Johann Sebastian Bach’s <em><em>Magnificat </em></em>in D Major, brimming with splendor and jubilation, is a jewel among Bach’s sacred works. George Frideric Handel’s <em><em>Messiah</em></em> has long captivated audiences; its lush word painting, masterful counterpoint, and astonishing choral writing make this work his crowning musical achievement. The 100-voice Marin Oratorio chorus and orchestra will be joined by guest soloists Christa Pfeiffer, Jessica House Steward, Buffy Baggott, Lee Steward, and William Pickersgill.</p><p><br></p><h3>Saturday, December 16, 7:30pm</h3><h3>Sunday, December 17, 3pm</h3><h3>James Dunn Theatre</h3><h3>Kentfield Campus</h3><p>General Admission $20<br>Seniors $15<br>COM Students, Staff, &amp; Alumni $15</p><p>Parking fees in lots closest to the Performing Arts Building are waived starting 1 hour before performance.</p><p><br></p>
