Climathon Honolulu: Climate Action Hackathon

The Hub inspires, connects, and enables people to do good and do well for Hawaii. We offer inspiring coworking, offices, meeting rooms, and events spaces.Parking is located on Kawaiahao behind the main entrance on Queen St. Parking is available M-F from 6:30am-8:30pm. Validated rates are $.50/hour. Parking lot closes at 8:30pm sharp so please have vehicles moved or relocated before then to avoid getting locked in the parking lot.

Hub Coworking Hawai'i

Join us for the first ever Climate Hackathon! This two-day event will feature a 24-hour hackathon and public workshops focused on solving the impacts of tourism here in Honolulu, followed by a film night focused on climate action. This is the final event in our Climathon series, hosted in partnership with Zero Waste Oahu.

You do not need to participate in the Hackathon to join us. We'll have workshops and films during the day, and everyone is welcome.

<LI CLASS="li1">1PM-2:30PM: WORKSHOP: Project Drawdown: Stopping global warming is possible, with solutions that exist today.</LI>
<LI CLASS="li1">4:30PM-5:30PM: WORKSHOP: Sierra Club: Lauren Watanabe- Discussing the intersection of Climate Action and Social Justice.</LI>
<LI CLASS="li1">6:15PM-8PM: Film Night &amp; Pizza Party: Dr. Darragh O'Carroll just returned from emergency response in Abaco Island in the Bahamas where Hurricane Dorian devastated the islands. Dr. O'Carroll will also discuss his new documentary series called Infected Earth. Discussion to follow. Second Film: The Human Element. This is a FREE event.
