Will you be proving meals/food during the retreat?

All meals and snacks will be included and prepared by a healthy, local chef / caterer. All dietary restrictions will be taken into consideration.

Is the Retreat for women only?

Yes, this is a women's retreat for women and those who identify as women.

Question 3

How big is the group?

Accepted Answer

This is a small, intimate gathering. We will have the entire property to ourselves for full privacy.

Question 4

Will I have to participate in all the activities?

Accepted Answer

This is a weekend about YOU! You get to choose what you do, what you participate in and when. We will encourage you to stretch out of your comfort zone, as that can make for a truly magical experience, but ultimately, it's all about your desires and choices.

What is the Future Self Photography Experience?

Accepted Answer

This is a unique and special activity with a local Austin photographer, Camille. She will guide you in a meditation and a playful, light experience of allowing your authentic, future self to shine through her lens. You will have access to all your photos digitally after the Retreat.

Question 6

Will I have time for myself?

Accepted Answer

You will have time to rest, relax, breathe, reflect and when you want to be alone, be alone. This is all about YOU.

Question 7

Is the Retreat refundable?

The retreat is non-refundable. Given it is a very small gathering with limited participants, we are committing to all the vendors participating and are unable to offer refunds. We will work with you if an emergency arises to try to assign or transfer your participation with someone else.

Question 8

Are Kampinas and Glamping Tents Single or Double Occupancy?

All rates and prices are for one participant, single occupancy. However, Kampinas and some of the tents do allow for double occupancy and sharing. For double occupancy, each participant will receive a $150/reduction in the full price.

What's the bathroom & shower situation

We have a brand new bathhouse with four private rooms. Each room has a toilet, shower, sink, and a space to store toiletries and clothes while you're using the facility. We also have outdoor rainwater showers. Both are conveniently located a short 1-2 minute walk from the tents and Kampinas.

Do you provide coffee or tea?

Yes! You’ll find everything you need to brew a fresh cup of coffee or tea in our communal kitchen. Hot water, tea, coffee grounds, french presses, coffee maker, and mugs are available for all guests

What should I pack?

Accepted Answer

Pack for glamping weekend, though we've got the big things covered (bedding, towels, cookware). You may want to bring closed-toe shoes, a headlamp, refillable water bottle and a swimsuit. We recommend traveling with backpacks and duffles as you will be walking from your car to the accomodations.

Is there Wifi?

No! At Serana we believe connecting with those around us and exploring the great outdoors is invaluable. For this reason, we do not have any WiFi at our location.

Question 13

Do the tents have electricity?

Accepted Answer

Just like camping, there are no outlets in the tent which means no mini fridge or coffee maker. However, there are battery powered lanterns and portable USB chargers so you can charge at least 2 cell phones.
