This event is to be attended in person.What is the Role of the Church in a Polarized World?Whether you are religious of any faith or not, this discussion promises to be uplifting and relevant. We’ll have frank discussions about how the Church can be both a polarizer and a depolarizer.Please join us as Father Wessman* noted speaker on Polarization and author of “<a href="https://www.amazon.com/Churchs-Mission-Polarized-World-Magenta/dp/1565485491" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Church’s Mission in a Polarized World</a>” will provide his insights into how we can discover a way out of the toxicity in which we live. His insights will be followed by a Q&amp;A/discussion.*Robert Aaron Wessman is the Vicar General (1st Vice-President) and Director of Formation for the Glenmary Home Missioners (since 2019). He has a PhD from the Catholic University of Louvain in Systematic Theology (2019). Along with being a Guest Lecturer at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, he gives lectures and publishes regularly, especially around the theme of polarization. His recent book is The Church’s Mission in a Polarized World, which is published through New City Press. He also serves as a volunteer chaplain for two prison systems in the Cincinnati, Ohio, region.Questions? Contact kelly@braverangels.org
