This event will provide a safe space for women to share their stories.  If you don't identify as a women, then please instead plan to attend one of our future STORIES Circle events.  Follow us on EventBrite or join our event mailing list here:  https://aidsmonument.org/contact/

Do I have to share a story?

We understand that sharing personal stories can be a challenge and requires the ability to be vulnerable.  We want all participants to tell a personal story, so that this is a shared experience, and sharing a moment of vulnerability is part of it.

Can you accommodate someone with ADA requirements?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely.  Barnsdall Park has designated handicapped parking as well as a small lot dedicated to handicapped parking.  There are also ways to access the theatre and park area without having to use stairs.  For more information about this, please contact karen.eyres@aidsmonument.org

What is the Foundation for The AIDS Monument?

The Foundation for the AIDS Monument (FAM) is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteer Board members who share a passion for ensuring that the history of the AIDS epidemic is chronicled and preserved for younger generations.

What is the STORIES Circle Event Series?

STORIES Circle events are held 4-5 times a year to bring together community members who have a story to share about HIV and/or AIDS.  These free events are hosted by the Foundation for The AIDS Monument (FAM), with support from city programs and non-profit organizational partners.
