The Monarch School and Institute is globally recognized and dedicated to providing an innovative, therapeutic education for individuals with neurological differences in an environment that supports self-determination and empowerment in the greater community.

+ PROGRAM AT A GLANCE
Monarch&#x27;s Residential Program welcomes teens and young adults with neurological differences who are either:
•	High school age, currently enrolled or soon to be enrolled in Monarch’s Butterfly Program or
•	At least 18 years old, attending Monarch’s Transition Services Program, another academic or therapeutic program, and/or employment in the surrounding area during the day. Optional transportation to these programs is available.
The Program incorporates structured learning experiences and supported real-life practices to foster skill development in areas such as:
•	Hygiene
•	Physical health
•	Nutrition
•	Budgeting
•	Time management
•	Meal planning/preparation
•	Laundry
•	Cleaning
•	Community integration
•	Medication management
•	Self-regulation
•	Safety
•	Socialization (circle of support)
The young adults live near campus in homes or apartments designed to provide a safe, comfortable environment that motivates learning and stimulates personal growth.
We strive to ensure that our young adults pursue their interests, learn to care for their needs as independently as possible, and become active members of their communities.
Monarch’s unique Residential Program utilizes proactive support strategies to encourage life and social skill development for each young adult while enhancing their quality of life through three progressive sub-programs.
