The Industry Loft provide opportunities for the creative community to create high quality content for their portfolios and socials in a collaborative, efficient and cost effective way. Our content creation events have been designed with dancers, musical artists, fashion designers, models, photographers and videographers in mind.

The Industry Loft Presents a Movement Photography Portfolio Building SessionExplore movement photography and build your portfolio through this open studio session. Designed for photographers of all levels who are looking to work with professional dancers and movers.What we Provide/The Industry LoftWe provide the studio, sets, dancers and movement coaches to create multiple opportunities for you to shoot. Each event features a variety of sets and dancers to ensure that photographers have the ability to capture content for several series.What You Need to Do/PhotographersBring your camera and work your way through our sets shooting in any and all that inspire you. You are welcome to use the content that you shoot at our events for your portfolio or social media accounts, we will provide all applicable tagging information.

Agenda

Check in, sign releases and walk through the sets that we will be using. get your equipment ready.

Check in & Set-up

During the first round of shooting we will have 4 sets running.  Dancers will rotate through sets and photographers can rotate and shoot in any and all sets that appeal to them.

Shooting Block 1

We will allow the dancers a short break. During this time we will shift the focus to just a few constant light sets.

Dancer & Lighting Reset

The focus will be on our constant light set and we will have the dancers work together in pairs or trios.

Shooting Block 2

During the final shooting block all of the dancers/models will move to 1 set to provide the opportunity to shoot group photos

Final Shooting Block
