Skip the bus trip, and stay in downtown Providence for an afternoon of history, architecture, food & drinks, and arts. Rhode Island Commerce is working with its partners across the state to host Go Global Awards attendees for a day in the capital city that showcases everything beautiful Providence has to offer.
Attendees of this excursion are asked to gather in the Omni Providence lobby at 10:30AM. We will then take a roughly 5-minute walk to the iconic Rhode Island State House for a private, guided tour, which will begin at 11 a.m.
From there, we will head to Atwells Avenue for a tour of Providence’s Federal Hill Neighborhood, home to some of the best food in the country. Tourism officials will be on-site to help attendees make lunch reservations or explore additional parts of the city.
