Let’s bike this former railroad over 2 days. We’ll see small towns, fall colors, &amp; cross multiple bridges.

Greenbrier River Trail

The Greenbrier River Trail is a 78-mile former railroad now used for hiking, biking and horseback riding. It is the longest trail of its kind in West Virginia. We’ll bike Marlinton to Caldwell over 2 days. (If you'd like to bike the entire 78 miles, please message me directly to arrange this separately.)Shuttle Deposit To reserve your spot, pay the deposit of $20 here. The balance is payable on the day of, directly to the vendor, West Virginia Outdoor Adventures, in cash. The balance will be around $40, depending on final headcount.Their cancellation policy: Full refund if you cancel by October 1. After October 1, the deposit is non-refundable. The shuttle runs rain or shine, with the exception of inclement weather. If the vendor needs to cancel, they’ll issue a full refund.After receiving your deposit, I’ll forward shuttle pickup information in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, and coordinate a Zoom so we can quickly touch base as a group before the trip for any questions.ITINERARYFriday, October 13, 9:30amMeet in White Sulphur Springs, WV to take a shared shuttle to Marlinton, WV.Time to explore town &amp; gather supplies before heading out.Bike 31 miles. BikesBring your own, or rent in West Virginia.Part of the Greenbrier River Trail lies within a National Radio Quiet Zone so cell phones do not work, though there’s WiFi in Marlinton and our lunch spot, Jack Horner’s Corner.
