The company is committed to utilizing arts as a vehicle to preserve heritage and as a platform to diversify the artistic landscape of the western world. JOIN THE MUCE DANCE COLLECTIVE  every Wednesday for FREE DANCE CLASSES! 
Donations are encouraged but not required to come and sweat with us. 8 unique classes, 8 amazing teachers. Check out the schedule below and RESERVE your space. All Classes are 6:30pm - 7:30pm & Outdoors. Bring water, towels, and your best moves. 
 
WED. SEPT 11TH:  CARIBBEAN DANCE FITNESS with JARRON 
It’s a sweat fete! Come get in shape as we move and groove to some of the hottest sounds of the Caribbean. This dance fitness workout is divided into three sections aimed to tone the body, strengthen muscles and build endurance. Bring your best whine because it’s Soca time. Let’s raise the temperature!
 
WED. SEPT 18TH: MANOU KANDANSE: HAITIAN FOLKLORE, AFROBEATZ & KONPA DANCE
Manou Kadanse is multiform danser inspired by Alkebulan expression•  Kadanse elevates vibration to thought, form to rhythm, roots to culture and pulse to essence
 
 
WED. SEPT. 25TH: CHEIFRAKA: "FUNDAMENTALS OF BREAKDANCE" 
CheifRaka representing Miam's Very own StreetsMastersCrew will be teaching us the Basics of Breaking! Dance to the immersive sounds of Afro funk, classic hip hip, funk and some of todays contemporary hits. Learn the origins of Break dance and its intrinsic link to the mother land. Sneakers and kangols - come through. 
 
WED. OCT 2ND: AFRO BEATS WITH AMANDA BAZIL 
Come explore contemporary West African dance styles to the sounds of Afrobeat, a style of popular music incorporating elements of African music and jazz, soul, and funk. As a hybrid of sound from across continents, Afrobeat is upbeat, fun, and energetic. Come learn some new moves to show off to your friends while having a good time! 
 
WED. OCT 9TH: WEST AFRICAN DANCE with CARMEN
Come and move your body, and connect to your root(s) with Carmensita La Negrita aka The DancingDoula. Afrofusion dance style and conditioning for wellness. We will also be incorporating meditation techniques to heal and move energy within and around the body. 
 
WED. OCT 16TH: AFROBEATZ, FOLKLORE & HIP HOP with SAMANTHA B.
This class is ALL about creative expression. Samantha B will begin with simple choreography that YOU explore and expand to create something uniquely your own. Fully expressed & no stress while you move to your own groove.  #freestyle #creativemovment 
 
WED. OCT 23RD: BROADWAY BABY! with DESIREE PARKMAN
Have you ever dreamed of strutting  your stuff on the Broadway stage? Kicking with the Radio City Rockettes?  Well this is the class for  you! Taught by former Radio City Rockette and Broadway performer Desiree Parkman. She will guide you into some of the most famous dance scenes like Lion King, Chicago, Color Purple and more!! Class will start with a warm up, introduction to basic dance vocabulary and movement followed by learning a combination from a musical.  Get in shape and dance your dreams!  Beginners welcomed! 
 
WED. OCT 30TH: SALSA 101 with ASHLEE THOMAS
Bring a partner or just show up - get ready to learn the basics of salsa dance and its connection to the African Diaspora. LA style and beginner Rueda (dancing in a circle) With these moves, you'll be ready to grab a partner and get down on the dance floor.
