2023 Berkeley Manufacturing Week Tours

Thank you for your interest in Berkeley Manufacturing Week 2023! This year we have a series of manufacturers to tour, ranging from scientific glass to bagel production!

For Bay Area Manufacturing Week 2023, the City of Berkeley Office of Economic Development is excited to announce a tour of <a href="https://metrolighting.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Metro Lighting</a> on October 4th!Metro Lighting is a lighting manufacturer and retailer in Berkeley, merging traditional crafts with modern technologies to create personalized lighting solutions. Since 1993, Metro Lighting has been creating locally designed and handcrafted lighting and glass. On top of championing high-quality craftsmanship, Metro Lighting embodies the values of sustainability, social responsibility, community, craft, and authentic materials.The tour will give 20 attendees a behind the scenes look at the process of making custom glass light fixtures and will showcase the 8,000 square foot lighting facility.Masks will be required in Metro Lighting. The tour will be limited to a group of 20, so get your tickets early!If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Arbios at rarbios@berkeleyca.gov.
