Prepare to be wowed by a night of peace, love, and MFG!The Annual Awards Banquet has been an ongoing tradition with UMA since 1905. These awards hold great significance as they acknowledge the vital role of manufacturing in Utah’s economy and distinguish leaders who excel in innovation, growth, corporate citizenship, and environmental excellence.Receiving one of these esteemed awards highlights your accomplishments and reflects your unwavering commitment to excellence, dedication to your employee’s well-being, and investment in the community. We are still accepting nominations through the UMA website until ﻿5:00 p.m. MST on September 29, 2023. Manufacturers from all over Utah can apply, regardless of headquarters residency. The awards are divided into categories based on company size to ensure fairness. We strongly encourage self-nominations. UMA Manufacturing Awards:Manufacturer of the Year: The Manufacturer of the Year Award recognizes outstanding achievements in Utah manufacturing.Company Culture: The Best Company Culture award recognizes companies with a strong and positive atmosphere. Culture includes values, attributes, and behaviors that define an organization. A strong culture helps employees understand and align their actions.Women in Manufacturing: The Women in Manufacturing Award honors a single individual who plays a significant role in manufacturing and continues to set the bar high for excellence. The inspiring leadership of women in manufacturing serves as a guiding light for other aspiring women looking to thrive in this industry.Leader of the Year: The Manufacturing Leader of the Year Award recognizes a person who showcases collaboration, creativity, initiative, and promotes a respectful work environment. They serve as a role model by embodying a strong company culture and making a significant impact in manufacturing.Environmental Stewardship: The Environmental Stewardship Award recognizes efforts to conserve the environment through sustainable practices.
