CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE GATE?

Yes, you can! We sell tickets at the event, and we also sell tickets in advance through our website. You can always buy them early and skip the line!

CAN I BRING MY DOG TO THE EVENT?

Leashed, well behaved dogs ok at the discretion of staff.

Question 3

CAN I BRING MY COOLER INTO THE EVENT?

Accepted Answer

We do not allow outside food or beverages inside the park during the Highland Games. Proceeds from beer sales go directly to putting on the next year's games, so buy a pint inside and support the Highland Games!

Question 4

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO THE GAMES?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, no, our liability insurance does not allow us to shuttle people to the event. Both Lyft and Uber are now available in Reno as affordable means of transportation to the park, or you can carpool.

Question 5

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have a minimal fee of  $5 for each car,  which goes to the wonderful High School organizations that help us out! Just follow the instructions of our awesome parking staff to get the best spot.

IS THERE SEATING?

There is lots of seating in front of the athlete arena but it is in the sun so come prepared!

IS THERE RE-ENTRY TO THE GAMES?

Accepted Answer

There is same-day re-entry to the Great Basin Highland Games, when you leave one of our gates you will be prompted by staff to get a hand stamp in case you have to run to your car.
