HBCU Entrepreneur's Week 2023 Fall Conference

The Virginia Workforce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (VWIEC) was established in October 2020 through the Department of Education Reimagine Workforce Preparation Grant. VWIEC is a Hampton University entity (a 501 (3) non-profit institute of higher education) that operates on the behalf of the Virginia Board of Workforce Development in partnership with Old Dominion University. The new center will serve as a statewide nexus of support by synthesizing the resources of two- and four-year institutions of higher education, experts in the public and private business sectors, and workforce agencies. VWIEC will fulfill a critical niche in the small business development arena. Services include mentorship, education, networking, pitch competitions and assistance with financing strategies. We will support the participants by removing barriers that restrict them.

HBCU Entrepreneur's Week hosted by the Virginia Workforce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (VWIEC) at Hampton University is an event that you don't want to miss!!  Join us!

The mission of HBCU Entrepreneur’s Week™️ is to provide unparalleled interdisciplinary entrepreneurship experiences, opportunities, resources, and support to HBCU students, alumni, faculty, and staff. We also recognize the importance of creating strong connections between HBCUs, their surrounding areas and local businesses, fostering mutually beneficial collaborations that uplift both the individuals, the HBCU ecosystem, and the economic development of these communities at large.The program for November 5-7, 2023 which is hosted by the Virginia Workforce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (VWIEC) at Hampton University, will include a balanced mix of Keynote Presentations, Panel Sessions, Workshops, Fireside Chats, and time dedicated to networking and knowledge exchange.Check out some of the additional activities and events that will take place during #HBCUeWEEK here below, and make sure to register and sign in to the HBCUEWEEK.com platform for additional content, resources, and opportunities for engagement and interaction.
