7/17 Studio34 Fused Glass Bird Bath Collab: Welded Metal Base (evening)

I am excited to announce that Ironwood Studios is collaborating with Studio 34 Creative Arts Gallery. Click the link to sign up for one of their Fused Glass Garden Art: Bird Bath classes at their location. (these classes are on different days and are an additional tution fee) Learn about the science of melting glass, cutting and shaping glass, and basic fusing techniques.

Then take country drive and come weld with me in my little red barn! As you craft your very own metal base for your bird bath, you'll witness your creative sparks fly. The Workshop will run about 2.5 hours and is limited to 6 people per class. You will explore the fundamentals of MIG welding an other essential metal shop tools.

This ain’t your average “Painting with a Twist ” class. Working with metal requires caution, and while our environment brims with excitement, safety is paramount. Potential hazards include minor burns, cuts, and exposure to smoke. Don't worry, you'll be provided with the necessary safety gear—just keep in mind, you will get dirty (but that’s the fun part!) steel dust is everywhere, so don’t wear your ball gown.

So, hop in the car, head to the countryside, and let's weld, create, and support one another and leave with bragging rights!
