This in-person event will begin on <strong>Friday, Nov 10, 2023</strong> starting at <strong>15:30:00 GMT-3:30 PM  (EST). The Ripe Crop Film Workshop and Short Film Festival ends on Sunday, November 12, 2023.</strong></p><h2>Short Film Festival</h2><p>Short films will be screened and voted on by our distinguished jurors.  Films in (5) different categories are eligible for submission. Awards will be offered for each of the (5) categories. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33409</strong>, this event promises to be a hub of talent, learning, and entertainment. </p><p>At the heart of the festival are the short films you will create with other creative, like-minded filmmakers. Films selected the will be screened on the culminating day of the festival. </p><p>Immerse yourself in a diverse range of genres, styles, and perspectives, as we showcase the best short films from talented filmmakers around the world.</p><h2>Film Workshop | Classes</h2><p>Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker or just starting out, our workshop sessions will provide valuable insights and hands-on experience to help you refine your craft. Glean from notable film professionals. </p><p>Our instructors will expand your  filmmaking technique with angles,  professional lighting, audio, colorization, pre-production and post production editing and other golden nuggets to create quality films.</p><p>Throughout the event, you'll have the chance to connect with fellow film enthusiasts, exchange ideas, and build lasting connections within the film industry. Our friendly and inclusive atmosphere encourages collaboration and growth, making it the perfect platform to network and nurture your passion for filmmaking.</p><p>Our workshop is a hybrid. Prior to our convergence on Keiser University’s Flagship campus you will meet with your classmates and your instructor working together virtually before our in-person sessions in West Palm Beach.</p><p>Each class is just $25. The classes are a combination of virtual classes  and in-person classes on campus with your classmates and instructors for the 72-hour Film Workshop  and Short Film Festival.</p><p>To participate in the film workshop please register by October 21, 2023. <h3><strong>ADRIAN SINCLAIR</strong></h3><h3>Instructor</h3><p>With a lifelong dedication to the arts and a background in the US Army, I leveraged my Veteran benefits to earn a BFA from NYU | Tisch School of the Arts after studying Film and Television Production at the City University of New York. As a director, my films have earned recognition at prestigious festivals, including the 2016 Los Angeles CineFest, 2017 Hip Hop Film Festival, and 2021 New York Tri-State International Film Festival. In 2018, I received a fellowship from Discovery Communications and The Will &amp; Jada Smith Family Foundation. I've also worked behind the scenes as a production assistant for the American Film Institute and George Clooney's Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony. My passion lies in storytelling, viewing each project as a living piece of art that reflects our history. My versatile skill set, shaped by experiences in the military, tech, and film industries, allows me to lead and connect teams effectively. Driven by the belief that we're here to serve humanity, I continue to pursue my purpose through the power of storytelling and the arts.”</p><p><strong></strong></p>

<h3><strong>JERRY AQUINO</strong></h3><h3>Instructor</h3><p>Jerry Aquino is a Director and Director of Photographer(DP) based in Jersey City, NJ. Jerry began studying photography, art, and music at an early age. He obtained an M.F.A in the Integrated Media Arts and Production(IMAP) program at New Jersey City University. Jerry Aquino has numerous cinematography works ranging from films to commercials. In the fall of 2016, he was invited to Princeton University by Filmmaker Lynn Sachs to screen one of his first works under formal training titled Lady Name America. Since then Jerry has continued to communicate visually making it to the 2019 New York Cinematography Award Semi- Finalist and The European Cinematography Award Semi-Finalist for his role as DP in “One Last Goodbye”. His most recent collaboration on Birth of Deceit as a DP has achieved 21 film festival selections and received 9 awards. 2021 opened with the completion of his first feature film as Director titled “Followers” out of Sanford,Michigan. DP of (Ny Unit) for Voices of Woman “Entanglement”set to debut at the Australian Embassy. Currently in the works is his follow up feature film tilted “El Americanito” slated to shoot  in the Dominican Republic 2023. </p><h3></h3>
