Join the Whatcom Housing Alliance and our partner organizations for Whatcom Housing Week 2023: a series of events that build awareness and support for innovative housing solutions. Learn, engage, discuss, and feel empowered.

With the support of AARP, the Whatcom Housing Alliance is organizing an ADU Design Competition to encourage architects, designers, and creative individuals to come up with innovative solutions that spark new ideas and push the boundaries of what's possible in ADU construction. We believe ADU’s have an important role to play in expanding housing choice and increasing housing affordability in Bellingham. Celebrate new ADU policy with local design and construction professionals while we announce the winners of our Juried Award and People's Choice Award for the ADU Design Competition!Interested in submitting your idea? Designs are due by October 3rd.
