The Arizona Interscholastic Mountain Biking League (AICL) is an emerging project of The National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) – 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. As one of many leagues across the country, we create, manage, and organize a variety of mountain biking programs and events to get #morekidsonbikes!

It's our first annual Coach Camp, who's coming?!?!  We have an exciting weekend planned, packed with learning, riding and fun.

Dead Horse Ranch State Park

A﻿Z NICA&#x27;s first annual Coach Camp is being held at Dead Horse Ranch in Cottonwood, Friday November 10th- Sunday, November 12th at 11am. We have an action packed weekend planned that you will not want to miss, here is the info:Coach Camp Cost: $35 per registered NICA coachWhat does that include:<ul><li>Friday evening gathering and campfire conversations</li><li>Full day of training on Saturday, group ride and campfire conversations</li><li>Three meals on Saturday (breakfast, lunch and dinner) (Deadline to be included in food count is Monday, 11/6 at 5 p.m.)</li><li>Coach Swag Bag (deadline to be included in swag count is 11/2 at 5 p.m., we will try our best but cannot guarantee swag after deadline)</li></ul>Sunday morning optional group rideT﻿he weekend will kick off on Friday evening at 7 pm as we gather at the group camping ramada, bring your own meal (grills available) and we will kick off our campfire conversations at 8 pm.S﻿aturday is a full day of learning, riding and fun with our fellow coaches as we get ready for our 2024 season. We have 4 tracts that include:AZ NICA&#x27;s Three C&#x27;s- Core Values, Culture and CommunityReinvigorate your NICA core values in this inspiring session and learn how to use those values to bring a fresh vibe to your team culture and AZ NICA community.So I&#x27;m a registered coach in the Pit Zone, now what?Whether you are a seasoned team director/head coach or a brand new level 1 coach we will discuss new ways to strengthen your coaching skills and engage your coaching crew.Race Day RundownSetting your team up for success on race day, learn more about AZ NICA&#x27;s race day structure and why it looks different.More than just racingHow can we work together as a league to get more kids and families on bikes….for life?
