Welcome to the 8th Annual Johnson Creek Science Symposium! Join us for an afternoon full of watershed science! This year, we are excited to be back at live at Reed College in the Performing Arts Building. Because we fill to capacity each year, tickets are required!Get ready to dive into Johnson Creek watershed science and explore the latest in research, restoration, and monitoring. Whether you are a student, a professional, or simply curious about the watershed, this event is perfect for you!This year, our format is a bit different.  In addition to a series of 12-minute presentations, we will have a panel discussion on the topic of &quot;Vegetation management in the face of climate change.&quot;  Panelists will answer questions from the moderator and from audience members.Presentations this year include: Geomorphology of Johnson Creek, Cedar Crossing Restoration,  Flood Insurance and Willingness-to-Pay, Habitat Values of new suburban neighborhoods in Pleasant Valley, Prioritizing Stormwater Restoration Through Pipeshed Analysis.Refreshments are included during the break.
