Startup Tucson supports all-types of entrepreneurs in Southern Arizona as they work to launch and grow their ideas and businesses. Programs include free and low-cost networking events, workshops, multi-week training programs, mentorship and their annual event TENWEST. Startup 101 is a hands-on class designed to give current and aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to design and iterate a business idea!

Oro Valley Town Hall: Town Council Chambers

Startup 101 is the perfect starting point to get going with a new product, service, or idea or to jumpstart your current business! ​You&#x27;ll learn about using lean methods to reduce risk and increase success in your entrepreneurial journey. Whether you are early on and just tinkering with an idea or already in business and want to explore a pivot or receive a refresh on the basics, this workshop will introduce tools and resources you can use no matter where you are on your entrepreneurial journey. After completing the Startup 101 course, you&#x27;ll be invited to join Startup Tucson&#x27;s free membership program. Membership benefits include:<ul><li>One-on-one coaching support</li><li>Program and event recommendations</li><li>Partner referrals</li><li>Access to subject matter experts and mentors</li><li>Discounts, and more -- all for FREE!</li></ul>REGISTRATION DETAILSThanks to the <a href="https://www.chooseorovalley.com/Home" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Town of Oro Valley</a> for hosting this special session, registration is open to all business owners with ties to Oro Valley (i.e., live in Oro Valley, have a business located in Oro Valley, sell goods/services in Oro Valley, etc.).The workshop will be held at the Oro Valley Town Hall: Town Council Chambers. Free parking is available onsite. In-person attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the elevator pitches to introduce their business idea and get feedback from the group.We will also offer livestream viewing of the presentation portion for those unable to attend in person. For those attending via Zoom, the session will end when we begin the elevator pitches.
