D﻿o you ruminate over things that happened in the past, or perhaps anxiously play out future scenarios that haven&#x27;t happened yet?I﻿f you are tired of feeling stressed/worried/anxious all the time and want to invite a little more peace and relaxation into your life, this experience is for you.D﻿id you know that 90% of the things we worry about never happen? Many of us spend way too much time ruminating over things we have no control over. If you struggle with this, it doesn&#x27;t mean there&#x27;s something wrong with you. Our brains are naturally primed to focus on the negative in order to keep us safe. It takes effort and consistent practice to allow the nervous system to relax and to take control of your thoughts (instead of allowing your thoughts to control you).J﻿oin Houston health coach + yoga/meditation instructor, Haley Fountain in a beautifully renovated historic church in Independence Heights for an experience like no other, designed tto help you take control of your anxious thoughts, activate your parasympathetic nervous system &amp; ground you into the present moment.T﻿he experience will include:<ul><li>A﻿ short thought work/journal exercise to help you understand your anxious/stressed thoughts that aren&#x27;t serving you + reframe them</li><li>G﻿uided breathwork </li><li>G﻿uided body scan meditation for grounding</li><li>S﻿ound bath with crystal quartz singing bowls</li></ul>P﻿lease bring with you:<ul><li>A﻿ yoga mat and/or meditation cushion</li><li>J﻿acket/sweatshirt/cozy socks if you get gold easily</li><li>B﻿lanket, eye mask additional pillows if you want to get extra cozy during the sound bath</li><li>O﻿ptional writing utensil &amp; journal if you like to jot down anything that comes up for you</li></ul>A﻿rrival/parking:P﻿lease arrive 5-10 minutes early to give yourself time to park and get settled in the space. The event will start promptly at 7pm. T﻿here will be a large designated parking lot at the back of the building which can be accessed by driving through the gate at the circle drive in the front of the building. *﻿You can venmo $33 to @holisticinhouston with your First Name, Last Name and Email Address if you want to avoid the EB fees**
