White's Art, Framing and Restoration was established in 1944 in Montrose, California, just minutes away from Los Angeles. White's exhibits the works of local artists year round in addition to providing art framing and art restoration services. The gallery has a cozy atmosphere and is nestled away in the charming Montrose Shopping Park.

Allow these remarkable works of art to leave an imprint on your soul, and may they serve as enduring reminders of the wild places that shape our world and our spirits.

Artist StatementRemote Places. Vast, boundless places. Places where one sees an endless horizon or where the sky and the land become one. Places where one can see the push, thrust and power inherent in the land. Places where one can almost see infinitely. My reaction to these places lingers in my thoughts and in my art.I feel fortunate that I can visit these remote and isolated areas, study the dynamics of what stands before me and use my knowledge of the elements of art to construct a composition that represents my consciousness, experience, and understanding of the value and essence of the place.

About the ArtistLoraine Veeck is a native Californian, presently living in the Los Angeles area. She studied art at Pierce College in Los Angeles and California State University in Northridge. Veeck has had several solo exhibitions in galleries throughout Los Angeles and southwestern United States including Whites Art, Framing and Restoration Montrose Schomburg Gallery, Santa Monica CA;, CA; Old Pueblo Frameworks and Gallery, Tucson AZ; Topanga Canyon Gallery and Howell Green Fine Arts Gallery, Los Angeles. She participated in an art rental system provided by the Los Angeles County Museum for several years. Additionally, she has shown her work at the San Bernardino Art Museum, the Maturango Art Museum in Ridgecrest and the Wilding Museum in Solvang.2019 found her honored with a residency grant of ten weeks by the Wurlitzer Foundation of Taos New Mexico.
