SCDT is excited to offer a COMMUNITY MOVING MEDITATION PRACTICE on Fridays from 9-10. This practice is an open level practice, no movement experience necessary.This class is now at 33 Hawley Street, in Northampton!We will follow the format of the Contemplative Dance Practice ( CDP ), developed by Barabra Dillley in the 1970's. CDP is a simple and profound practice of moving meditation that works with the innate intelligence of your body/mind, psyche and imagination to discover new aspects of self. We practice with others to develop an appreciation for the diversity of the human experience. We will come together, sit, move with eyes closed, write and move with eyes opened. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a journal!
