Mae Addysg a Gwella Iechyd Cymru (AaGIC) yn arwain ar ddigwyddiad ymgynghori i ganfod a oes rôl i brentisiaethau gradd ar gyfer Proffesiynau Gofal Iechyd o ran hyfforddi gweithwyr gofal iechyd proffesiynol y dyfodol. Fel y gwyddoch efallai AaGIC yw Partner Datblygu Llywodraeth Cymru ar gyfer y gyfres o brentisiaethau Gofal Iechyd gyda Grŵp Llywio Prentisiaethau Gofal Iechyd a gadeirir gan Lisa Llewelyn - Cyfarwyddwr Addysg Nyrsio a Gweithwyr Iechyd Proffesiynol, AaGIC.

Mae'r ymgynghoriad hwn yn gofyn am rywfaint o ddarllen y dogfennau yr ydym wedi'u tynnu ynghyd er mwyn i chi ddeall y sefyllfa bresennol a'r cyfleoedd mewn perthynas â Phrentisiaethau Gradd yng Nghymru. Gallwch ddod o hyd i'r dogfennau hyn yma: (link)
Bydd y gweithdai yn rhoi cyfle i chi gael trafodaethau mwy penodol, a byddant yn cael eu cynnal rhwng 15 Medi a 27 Hydref.
Mae gennym gydweithwyr sy'n siarad Cymraeg ar gael dydd Gwener 15 Medi a dydd Mawrth 17 Hydref. Os ydych angen i unrhyw un o'r gweithdai a ddyrannwyd gael eu cyfieithu o'r Gymraeg ar y pryd, rhowch wybod i ni o leiaf 5 diwrnod gwaith ymlaen llaw drwy'r cwestiynau cofrestru a byddwn yn sicrhau bod hyn ar gael ar y diwrnod.

Degree Apprenticeship Consultation Workshop
Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is leading on a consultation event to ascertain whether there is a role for degree apprenticeships for Healthcare Professions in the training of the future healthcare professionals. As you may be aware HEIW is the Welsh Government's Development Partner for the Healthcare suite of apprenticeships with a Healthcare Apprenticeship Steering Group chaired by Lisa Llewelyn - Director of Nurse and Health Professional Education, HEIW.

Views during this consultation will be sought from following clinical staff groups from the NHS, Social Care, Community, and independent contractors: - 
<ul><li>Medical and Dental 
</li><li>Nursing and Midwifery 
</li><li>Allied Health Professionals
</li><li>Pharmacy 
</li><li>Healthcare Science 
</li></ul>
This consultation requires some reading of the documents that we have pulled together for you to understand the current position and opportunities in relation to degree Apprenticeships in Wales. You can find these documents here: (link)
The workshops will give you an opportunity to have more focused discussions, and will be held between the 15 September and 27 October.
We have Welsh-speaking colleagues available on Friday 15 September and Tuesday 17 October, if you require the workshops to be available simultaneously in Welsh please let us know at least 5 working days in advance via the registration questions and we will ensure this is available on the day.
