<h2>Musichead Gallery is proud to present May Pang&#x27;s Los Angeles premiere photography exhibition, The Lost Weekend: The Photography of May Pang.</h2><h3>Saturday, October 7 from 12-5 pm</h3><h3>S﻿unday, October 8 from 12-5 pm</h3><h3></h3><p><a href="https://musichead.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Musichead Gallery</a> is proud to present May Pang&#x27;s Los Angeles premiere photography exhibition, <em>The Lost Weekend: The Photography of May Pang</em>. Hosted by Chris Carter of <a href="https://www.breakfastwiththebeatles.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><em>Breakfast With The Beatles</em></a>, the photo display will feature over 25 prints of May Pang’s intimate portraits of John Lennon during his West Coast sojourn that became known as The Lost Weekend.</p><p>During her 18-month relationship with John Lennon, Pang was a part of his most productive era post-Beatles. This period included the release of albums such as <em>Mind Games</em> and <em>Walls and Bridges</em>. He also collaborated with David Bowie and Elton John. Her photos were often taken in informal situations, showing Lennon at his most relaxed and upbeat.</p><p>Meet May Pang and immerse yourself in a curated selection of photographs. This exhibition will take place the weekend leading up to Lennon’s birthday and a week prior to the Briarcliff Entertainment digital and blu-ray release of the documentary <em>The Lost Weekend: A Love Story</em>.</p><p></p><p>The event will include:</p><ul><li>Photography exhibition featuring 25 artworks</li><li>S﻿igned, limited edition prints for purchase</li><li>Refreshments will be served</li></ul><p></p>

<h2>“John didn’t like the photos that most people took of him. He’d always say ‘I don’t like the way I look there’ or ‘I was so fat.’ But he happened to like what my eye caught of him. You’re seeing him through my eyes, the way I saw him. I’d say I was working more as a partner than a documentarian, but I thought I caught a side that you don’t often get to see. He doesn’t smile in a lot of photos, and one comment I usually get is ‘My goodness, we’ve never seen him so relaxed’.”  - May Pang</h2>
