Kids’ Activity Session: ‘Tin Foil Figures’ (for ages 6–8)

Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Sri Lanka

As part of our special public programming for Children’s Day, our Visitor Educators will guide children to re-imagine and recreate a fictional character of their choice using everyday materials such as tin foil, cardboard, and clay. This activity has been prepared using the approach of Social Emotional Learning, to encourage and foster children’s creative and critical thinking, and social and emotional wellbeing.

This activity session has been curated as part of the Public Programmes of the exhibition ‘The Foreigners’, on view until 22 October 2023. This programme is free and all materials will be provided. Limited spots available.
ළමා දිනය සඳහා වූ අපගේ විශේෂ මහජන වැඩසටහන්වල කොටසක් ලෙස, ළමුන්ට ඔවුන් තෝරාගත් කල්පිත චරිතයක් යළි පරිකල්පනයකර ටින් පත්, කාර්ඩ්බෝඩ්, හා මැටි වැනි එදිනෙදා ද්‍රව්‍ය අශ්‍රිතයෙන් එය ප්‍රතිනිර්මාණය කිරීමට අපගේ බාහිර අධ්‍යාපනඥයන් මගපෙන්වනු ඇත. ළමුන්ගේ නිර්මාණාත්මක සහ විවේචනාත්මක චින්තනය හා, සමාජයීය සහ චිත්තවේගී යහපැවැත්ම දිරිමත්කිරීම මෙන් ම පෝෂණයකිරීම අරමුණු කරගත් මෙම ක්‍රියාකාරකම සමාජ-චිත්තවේගීය ඉගෙනීමේ ප්‍රවේශය යොදා සකසා ඇත. 

මෙම ක්‍රියාකාරකම් සැසිය 2023 ඔක්තෝබර් 22 දක්වා සංදර්ශිත ‘ආගන්තුකයෝ’ ප්‍රදර්ශනයට අදාළ මහජන වැඩසටහන්වල කොටසක් ලෙස අභිරක්ෂණයකර ඇත. මෙම වැඩසටහන නොමිලේවන අතර සියලු ද්‍රව්‍ය සපයනු ලැබේ. ඉඩකඩ සීමිතයි.
சிறுவர் தின சிறப்பு பொது நிகழ்ச்சியாக, எமது வருகை கல்வியலாளர்கள் சிறுவர்களை கற்பனை கதாப்பாத்திரம் ஒன்றை தகடினால், கார்டபோர்ட் மற்றும் களி மண்ணால் மீள் கற்பனை செய்யவும் மீள் உருவாக்கவும் உதவுவார்கள். இச் செயல்திறனானது சமூக உணர்ச்சி கற்றல் சார்ந்து சிறுவர்களின் கற்பனை வளம், விமர்சன சிந்தனை மற்றும் சமூக மற்றும் உளவியல் நலனை வளர்ப்பதற்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இச் செயல்திறனானது ‘அந்நியர்’ கண்காட்சியின் பொது நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்காக ஒழுங்கு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. ‘அந்நியர்’ கணக்கிட்டாச்சி 22 அக்டோபர் 2023 வரை காட்சியிலிருக்கும். இந் நிகழ்ச்சியானது முற்றிலும் இலவசமாகும். தேவையான அனைத்து பொருட்களும் நிகழ்ச்சியில் வழங்கப்பட்டும். குறிப்பிட்ட அளவு வெற்றிடங்களே உள்ளன.
