Please join us on the Close as we commemorate the 135th Anniversary of the  Chapel and host a series of events for alumni

<p>The Rev. James Farwell, Ph.D. (’89), will deliver the 2023 Paddock Lectures across both days, marking his installation in the H. Boone Porter Chair of Liturgics. On Tuesday, we will hold a Festival Choral Evensong to commemorate the 135th Anniversary of the Consecration of the Memorial Chapel of the Good Shepherd, followed by dinner in the Hoffman Refectory. At the Alumni Memorial Eucharist on Wednesday morning, we will present the Distinguished Alumni Award, and in the afternoon, we will hold our Alumni Association Annual Meeting. Some events will be live streamed on the GTS YouTube page. The Rev. James Farwell, Ph.D. (’89), H. Boone Porter Professor of Liturgics, delivers the 2023 Paddock Lectures: “The One and the Many: Meditations on the Eucharistic Fraction.” The lecture will be livestreamed on the GTS YouTube page.

Immediately following the service will be a Cocktails and dinner in the Hoffman Refectory as we continue the celebrations and spend time with each other on the Close. We will be especially celebrating the reunion classes of 3s and 8s (1963, '68, 73, '78, '83, '88, '93, '98, '03, '08, '13, '18)

Alumni Memorial Eucharist and Distinguished Alumni Award Presentation in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd. The necrology for the previous year will be read and our Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented to the Rev. Dr. Ellen Barrett (Sr. Helena, OSB) (’75), and the Rev. Canon Milton Cole-Duvall (’82). The service will be live streamed on the GTS YouTube page.
