CRC is offering childcare during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Morning Services

CRC is offering childcare for children of member households during the Yom Kippur morning services and breakout session, until Children&#x27;s Services begin at 3:30 pm. Care will be provided by trained caregivers from CRC&#x27;s own early childhood center, The Nest.C﻿hildcare is offered for children between the ages of 2 months and 5 years. We ask for a contribution of $18.00 per child per session, which can be paid as a <a href="https://www.centralreform.org/give/#special-fundraisers" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">High Holiday Donation at our website</a>. Please indicate that the donation is &quot;in honor of childcare for [your children&#x27;s names]&quot;. It is important to both register here, and to donate at the CRC website.If you’d like childcare but the cost is prohibitive, please contact Ryn Bonney, ryn@centralreform.org.Reservations prior to September 20 are required to utilize this service. To ensure that we have enough child care providers, WE CANNOT PROVIDE DROP-IN CARE for children for whom no reservations were made.ArrivalParents should bring children to CRC at 9:30 am, one half hour before the start of the Yom Kippur morning service, to help them adjust to the setting. We ask that parents pick up their children from the child care room no later than 3:30 pm, the start of Yom Kippur Children&#x27;s services.Parents must be on-site, at CRC or the break-out sessions, for the duration of the time that the child is in care.SnackWe will provide water, nut-free snacks, and a vegetarian lunch.If your child needs a special lunch, drink, or snack, please bring it along in a labeled container. If your child is in diapers, please bring a day&#x27;s supply.Behavior &amp; ComfortOur goal is to ensure a safe and fun-filled childcare environment. The staff will work with the children to help them adjust. We do, however, reserve the right to contact parents while in services if a child cannot be comforted or managed successfully within one-half hour.SecurityIn the interest of keeping our community safe, security will be increased during our High Holiday services. Please pack only needed diapers, food, and soothers; all bags will be examined and large bags or backpacks are not permitted.All those attending will proceed through a metal detector as they enter CRC. Firearms will not be permitted on the premises.
