Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, King Manor continues to host numerous seasonal festivals, family programs and classical music concerts year round. On April 8th, 2024, for about 4 minutes and 27 seconds, New York will have the rare and beautiful opportunity to view a total solar eclipse! Looking directly at a solar eclipse without the proper eyewear can cause permanent damage to your eyesight. Do you have the right equipment to view this amazing celestial event? Come by King Manor to make an emergency solar eclipse viewer and learn about the history of solar eclipse tourism and viewing!This viewer can be made and used by all ages.
